Well since I am looking to change the engine on any 240sx i might buy, my friend said that its much cheaper to go to a junkyard and find one with a blow engine or somthin and then put the sr or rb engine in it. What do you guys think?

2 things

1. cars go to junk yards for a reason, they're usually crashed, and they're not a good idea to try and bring back to drivability (safely restoring a frame to originial specification can sometimes be very costly)

2. it'll never smell right ever again

I picked up a second 240, a 93 hatch, from the junk yard for 375$ no accidents very litle rust and a blown motor. I go to the yard I got it from quite often and saw it in the incoming area so it wasnt there very long, im not shure how all yards operate but at this one after they make it from the incoming part into the general yard area they zap the title and you can no longer buy the car from them. I didnt smell so great at first but I cleaned the interior with an upholstry cleaner and its all good now.
