The bore on the Jun 2.2L stroker kit is 87MM, and I believe the stock blacktop SR20DET has an 86MM bore, so does that mean I would have to take my block to a machine shop and have them bore it?

all i can say is wow.

also, i would recomend a .2L bore over a stroker kit. IMO a stroker kit should be used on top of a bore to hit 2.4L

or you would just build a ka for the same price and be able to source blocks from junk yards at will...

... you dont want a KA, but you want more then 2.0L boosted... you are considering a complete rebuild and all that other crap... why?

a engine is an engine no matter where its from, USA, japan, whatever. why spend all the money importing the 2.0L just to bore/stroke it? just build the 2.4L if you want the bigger displacement...

now why would you go to the SR section and pick a fight!

why cant he just build what he wants to build without everybody else telling him how to spend his money. the man wants a bigger SR let him have it. The KA would be cheaper, but he wants and SR...Maybe its bragging rights, maybe its the JDM appeal, but its his ride not ours.

Ignore these jokaz and build your car, and they are right, it will be expensive. A SR22DET will make a good track car, but not sure how thats gonna be for you on the street. 350 whp is a lot in these cars for street driving. your're talking 400 plus, rather easily, good luck on that!
