JUN 11th Meet!!(Cancelled! due to carshow competition + weather report)

Only one meet scheduled this weekend to ensure good attendence.

It's in a suburb of Baltimore, at the now famous Snowball stand parking lot.

3pm, early enough to enjoy the sun, late enough for everyone to have plenty of time to make it, even after a late Friday nite and still early enough for those that have Friday night engagements (even tho I suspect a hard core group of us will hang late)

Its south enough our southern members can easily make it, yet north enough or Delaware folks to make it too.

I was real easy for me to find, even as a non local:

Come all!.I will probably re-enact the tradition of springing for a case of quality Fred-approved hi-end oil, for who ever drives furthest.

Somebody volunteer to bring ice+ cooler.And someone else bring soda ( be sure to include diet and/or water as well, as thats much better for hot days for your body)

These car shows are SO hard to turn into a meet.. Everyone always shows up at different times..

APG is much closer to Ocean City than Ft. Detrick/Fredneck. I haven't a clue where we can all meet down there, there will be so many cars i bet.

Yeah, the Orange Ball thing kinda tanked last week, I only found like 1 or 2 members...

But I tagged every Nissan in the lot. Good Job me! But I cant understand why anybody would want to go to the beach with this HOT AS$ muggy weather we've been having lately. Fred, I like having the meet on saturday.

lol fred, it isnt that big, im sure it will fit in the passenger seat as long as no ones riding with you. fill it with ice when you get there.

Well Fred, I think a meet compared to this OC car show is like comparing some good beef stew to chicken fried rice.

The biker show-off would be a different story if it were this week... I will talk to all my local homies and see what they think. Ill get back to ya this evening.

I have checked with a number of locals and they have said that it would be better to hold the meet on sunday, there is a car auction taking place onsaturday at 3PM that is attracting alot of attention and, well, is right in the way of the event. What do you think?

first off a meet in OC is a really bad idea

way too many people and way too many cops

a meet around baltimore would be best (not saying that for my benefit)

Fred, i know a place North of baltimore with a small lot for maybe 2 dozen members at most (it'd be best for local members) to go to. Its a place that is very notrious for bikers to hang but have recently stopped showin up. Its nickname is "The 7 Sister Turns" a stretch of road with 7 consecutive s-turns. Great to test new suspension and skills

Wow i really wish i would have gone to the NICO meet. No instead i went to OC thurs - sun for the show and spent 9 hours in jail from 2 am to 11 am on friday morning from being slightly intoxicated on the boardwalk.

Dammit i hate those rent-a-cop bastids that are all my age doing a fawkin summer internship and arresting people just for tallys. The one that arrested us was acting like he was getting points...like we were some kinda hard to beat high score!

That terrible.Unless you are making a scene you should never be arrested for something like that since you are doing the safe thing and not driving..

Clear case of someone need to do stuff to justify their job.

Well thats what really made me mad...There were kids beside us wearing underwear on their heads screaming at the top of their lungs and jumping around stumbling.

Someone had a beer bong wrapped around their neck about 10 feet in front of us.

And we are the "suspicious" ones because all three of us have McDonalds cups?

Owell its over and done with now cant change it. Did you happen to make it to the OC show Palmer? I know i talked to ya but cant remember if you were going up or not.
