What could cause jumpy timing like from 22 @ 750 rpm, to 11 @ 775rpm, idling alone it wont hold steady, I just changed distributor and wires, any idea what else it could be?

Knock sensor? Do you drive a S14? The other things that affect you idle moving like that are bad TPS or loose connection. Is you IACV still good?

The IACV seems good since I can adjust the idle by turning the screw on the manifold. Im wondering if it could possibly be the ignition coil?

I had the same problems while prepping to spray. I'll post the thread's link. Its got just about anything you're going to need.
