Blow by means your piston rings are fried. And you need a rebuild. And the only reason why i said to run the boost up is if the car is running rich and increase the boost for alittle leaner state and if you have a wide and you ari/fuel is good then it should help it run a little better.

And the only reason why i suggest that is because you have a rom tune and there is no quick soloution to a tuning problem other then to send it back and get the ECU remapped.

Well I got a new maf today and got my car running right but below 3k during driving its kind of jumpy when I hold the throttle steady(as in cruising down the street) But runs beautifully when giving any throttle. WOT or just slowly accelerating. I Did a boost leak test and I know I have no leaks in the piping. Also Im only getting 15 vac. Maybe that would cause it? Anything else I can check that would cause jumpy acceleration?

My setup is jwt ecu tuned for 740cc injectors, s15 turbo, z32 maf, greddy spec m intercooler, and hks bov.

And I know my tps voltage is correct too.

Throw a wideband on and check your A/F. Maybe your running rich and need to get a new tune, or turn up the boost a little.

how would turning up the boost help? Not trying to sound smart or nothing its a serious question.

Also whats the vacuum suppose to be at, at idle?

Vacuum should be ~20psi on a healthy motor. Sounds like you have a vac leak.

Edit: never turn up the boost to compensate for a running issue.

See that's what I thought too. But on a vacuum leak where else should I look other then the piping because I know my piping is straight. I already did a test and fixed that.

Could a clogged fuel filter cause this?

So Im doing a boost leak test and Im getting alot of air coming out of the dip stick tube. Is that normal? And other then piping where should I look for vac leaks.

no that is not normal that is exsessive pressure on the crank aka blow by. does your dipstick shoot up and you have to push it down.?

It doesnt shoot out but I hear pressure building up when I am pumping it. What can I do to fix it?
