My 92 s13 was originally an auto and converted to manual but now my sr redtop is looking for the clutch safety switch and since it was originally an auto the wires aren't there and I don't know what I am looking for. And the FSM is not helping me. And I think that's why it isn't starting because my neutral switch is wired correctly and my ignitor chip is good. And the fuel pump primes and all the electrical accessories work perfect like they did before I pulled the old engine out. So if anyone can help me with a picture or a diagram or anything it would be greatly appreciated. All I know is it is somewhere near the passenger side fuse box, I just don't know what I am looking for.

Do I need to jump across the shift lock fuse? Is that what I have to jump with a piece of wire to make it start?

so long as the park/neutral safety plug is jumped properly, the car will start. The ECU is not in that equation.

And the FSM is very helpful for diagnosing the starting system. It's laid out very well and shows exactly how the system works.

Thanks for the info, I went back through the FSM and found the schematics on wiring, just was tucked away in other parts of it. But what fuse/link do I need to jump? That's the main question.
