Michael, what time you coming and where you want to meet? I left my cell phone in Everet's car cause we were 5spd swapping it and whatnot in TN, so I have no phone to get ahold of you except the house phone, which I cant' take with me everywhere, lol.

i didn't do as good as i did last time in clay city. [email protected] was my best. there were a whole lot of differences between my car now and then, so the slower time.

Mike,I thought you were in the mid 14's last time I was there at Clay City? How did everyone else do? I wish I could have been there yesterday. (stupid work!)

I did get the chance to race a VW GTI (VR6) going to my Impreza Meet. I was a full car length ahead of him when he barked his tires shifting to second and he never caught up. He did do a "ricer flyby" after I slowed down from 100mph to 60 (still speeding on Merdian Street). I think he wanted to line up again to go, but traffic wouldnt permit it. So he stuck to shifting lanes real fast to advance into traffic.

Ah the joys of a Suby. My friend just wrecked his  Not bad, but went into a ditch and ripped the front bumper off I think :(

Early in the day while it was still kinda muggy outside I ran 16.2, 16.2, 16.3....then I let her chill for about an hour or so while the sun went down and the air got a chill in it. Started her up, ran a 15.9, 16.1, then 16.4 (?). Dont know what was up w/ that one. I was racing my friends NA 300z he just got and was just concentrating on where he was, not about my driving I think. The Z was having a hard time, but finally put down a 15.7 I think. Car has never been driven hard and wasn't used to it, according to my friend. It has 115k miles on it, 5spd, runs pretty well. Needs tune up and stuff I think.

So all in all, a good day. I finally put down my 15.9 run that I've wanted for so long!!!

yeah well with over a half tank of gas and back seat in with all kinds of other crap in the car and 93 octane that is what she'll do. However i didn't feel to bad b/c i beat the h22 del sol. he was runnin low 15's. I think that his pressure plate isn't workin right or something like that. Also he couldn't get a decent launch for anything so with all that said=low 15's.

Doesnt he have bad axles on the front of his car? Not sure if he fixed that yet.

yeah he still does have the bad axels in the front, so that could have had something to do with it. He was also having trouble getting it into 4th

Lots of thing contributed to Joel's car not running near as fast as it should have. His clutch, his axles, his driving (not saying it was bad, but, its a factor), launching, traction, etc etc. Just wasn't the 'Sols day.
