when I engage drive there is a clonking and jerking as I pull away some times it stalls the engine

Almost sounds like torque converter lockup (if that's even a thing in a CVT). Does the check engine light come on?

What year Juke? It may still be under warranty. The CVTs got an extended warranty to 120k I believe.
