Got some debt paid off and got the itch real bad

Wife took me to dealer on our aniversary (today) and said pick one

Got a black on black with premium package

Going to keep the old J (since they would only give me 2K for it)and work on it over the next year or so and let my daughter have it when she starts to drive.

Was really impressed with the FX35 but the instument panel is way too busy and the ride was too much SUV for me.

Wo hoo!

6mt with Brembo? See a lot of complaints about the standard disc rotors warping as early as 12k -15k miles.

What? I thought 12k was considered good. The Honda Accord I had ate them up like crazy.

They only offered you $2K for the J30? I was offered $7K for my 95 G20t by a Lexus dealer trying to get me to buy a CPO 2001 ES300...

Congrats on the G35.

been married 7 years together 10

The 6spd wasn't an option since she cannot drive stick and the brembos are not offered on the sedan

Went with the stock suspension as I am a sport tourer and not a hard core sporter

Car looks great, just need to snap some shots. Looks real classy in black on black with the wood.

Also got 1st years oil changes for free. Not a big deal but wife hates me being under the car so her gift is my gift.

She drove it today and said it was real tight an she is not used to that. Brakes are definately better than the FX

Look forward to still being here and will check out the G35 forum also. Will be doing maint and repairs on the J over the next year or so so when my daughter is ready she will have a nice car.

Can't wait to have to pick the kids up from school and do all the after school activities. More driving, yahoo!

Congrats on the new ride, juicey.

They offered you $2k for your J? As I've said before, the J30 is the best bang for your car dollar out there. Also says that G35s are selling well if they don't have to give more for trade ins.

Way to go juiceman! The G35 Sedan is a very classy car. You will get lots of second looks and complements everywhere you go. Black on black with wood package I'm sure looks very sharpe. The end of November, it will be 1 year with the G and I still feel very good when I'm behind the wheel. You will feel the same.Kev...

Congrats on the new ride. You must show some pics. I would really like to see the interior with the wood-trim. I haven't seen the wood-trim yet, except for an install kit that someone did, which looked like crap, but it wasn't the Infiniti wood-trim. I am sure that the Infinit trim looks much nicer.

woo, hoo another G on the road.

black on black 6MT sedan here, lovin' it. DON"T FORGET TO TURN OFF VDC WHEN YOU ARE SHOWING OFF OR YOU WILL LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT. whew that's a lot to type without hittin caps lock. I can't count the number of times i have felt myself bogging off the line when the car decided to throttle back some.
