just picked up my garret t3, its a used turbo off an engine that came into a local shop, picked up the bottom mount manifold, garret t3, hks external wastegate, ss braided lines on the turbo, 3in downpipe with o2 sensor, new gaskets for $1000 CAD. ill post some pics later, but does wat do you guys think, do i need to upgrade my injectors or do you think i will be fine for now?

Nice work on your Sil-80!... I just picked up a '90 240sx fast back a few months back and I've been wanting to do a front end conversion for sometime now... Sad to say, I ain't feeling the pignose look (Sorry, no offense to all the pignose lovers!) there's the Sil80 or S15 Silvia, or Kouki type-X conversion...

Nice wheels! They fit your car perfectly with just enough "lip" action... not to mention the wheels compliment your paint job too!

Looking at the last group pic gives me some cool ideas and inspiration... Good luck to you and your build... I'm still at the early stages on my build...

post up some pics of the turbo your talking about having no coolant lines. ill see if i can help. i just bought a t3 for my build and it has coolant lines. You also said you got a bottom mount t3 manifold? i would really like to see pictures of these parts.

to blood sport: wheels specs are something like 18x9 front and 18x10 rear offset is unknown because he wont tell.

to solow240sx: nope t3 garret

to tomeis13: i guess its just an oil cooled turbo so i took it back im gonna take a different route but the manifold is a really rare manifold i guess... thats why i wanted to keep it but ill try and a couple pics for you if i can

small update, took back the t3, got a MR manifold put back on the stock t25, got a new MR turbo extension, replaced all the gaskets and bolts car runs amazing. I had a major exhaust leak, the stock elbow was held on by 1/5 studs thats it the others werent even on. so now the car sounds so different i love it, posting pics up later

I say NAY to having your own personal update thread if you aren't really doing anything. This isn't a blog, and should not turn into one.

to masya yu -i love em wouldnt trade them for anything i think they are a great bang for your buck

to bt2s14 - a build thread is merely just a blog it just seems less like a blog with more attention, unfortunately i dont have alot of attention so thats how it is

thread revival!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so after a loooooong winter, 2 car trades later i ended up getting my sil80 back.

first offf - i got my sil back from the guy i traded with to end up with a seized turbo that was held on by 1 bolt, no pics.

so i swapped in a zenki s14 t25 only to find out the turbo seals are done, or so i hope.

i ordered my gt2871R .64 a/r pics to follow with other parts.

only to realize i have so many issues to settle with this car, hoping i can get enough recognition to get some real help.

mini update:

car was burning oil so i swapped out the t25 for my old t25.

replaced MR headers with oem, so i could send out the headers for some welding.... :D

waiting on parts, partly my fault funding... partly the shops fault for parts not coming in.

brakes and wheels should be on today. pics coming later.

t3 of some sort or another?... i pop in and out of your thread here and there.

due to the car being my daily driver i have to take a strategic attempt to get all of the parts ive accumulated on in one weekend...

however i managed to do my tie rod ends on the weekend only to be disappointed that my peak performance tie rod ends do not work with factory inners.... gay.... so oem is on until i order my inners from frsport.com
