Ok i guess ill start a build thread a little bit late but i still have alot of work to do to my 1990 Nissan 240sx with DOHC swap. Right now i have CP pistons with 9:1 compression ratio stock rods and crank new seals and head gasket stage 2 BC Cams and BC Stage 2 single spring kit. had the head and block hot tanked with block bored to 89.5mm. cold air intake and header with 3 inch exhaust, megan short throw shifter, lightweight underdrive and flyhweel and dual friction clutch and i have nistune and just recently went to the dyno

I have several little things to do on the car like rethread my valve cover bolts cause several of mine are stripped, i also need new back brakes and thinking of doing 300zx back brakes with master cylinder first and then eventually do fronts when pads on front get lower, then i got work to do on body and cleaned up engine bay a little, i need new light motors only one comes up with the button but does not go down, but honestly i am kinda wondering if 300zx front lights instead of pop ups but dont know if it would be to hard like fitting the lights in there i could get the hood cut down to fit it. I need to also get my diff welded sometime to probably when i do my brakes.

So since of money issues im getting everything good for N/A and cleaning up wiring in engine bay and in cabin also...I plan on relocating battery in back next week or 2 and to relocate the intake where battery was hopefully quicker throttle response...any thoughts on this? I have heard different things??? after this i am going to be putting 300zx headlights in place of pop ups..when spring comes welded diff....

so before school starts back i have decided to do a wire tuck and move intake where battery is but outside engine bay and move battery in back...then also put Z32 headlights in and get rid of pop ups.... probably wont be the best wire tuck and i probably wont do every single wire but we will see cause i only got 2 weeks. I just got everything off and going to start on engine bay tomorrow, and probably take interior out and clean up my mess so i can find stuff. will update more pics on progress within few days

battery in back with a wire tuck in the back sorta.

cut a hole where battery was in order to move shorter intake filter out of engine bay until turbo...i also eliminated the seat belt motors and tracks but kept seat belt stationary, got rid of back speakers and brackets to hold them and back panels. shaving parking lights on sides when pretty outside. the only wiring i have in back is power wire to battery, rear defrost, fuel pump, and brake lights. junk pile below was 2 more wal mart bags of electric tape, sensor clips, cruise control comptuer, seat belt computer if anyone needs something else let me know i have several other random parts need to get rid of...

i didnt ever get to finishing it cause chemistry was harder than i predicted but anyways i am going to start finishing up wiring the fuse and relay boxes in a week when i go on spring break for a week should have everything done by then..i will have pics of updates when i get done with it. Due to the guy dropping a light and it cracking that i was getting 300zx lights from for cheap i am going to put back on stock headlights for time being until i find another good deal on a set.....does anyone have a pair of 90-96 model 300zx headlights for sale thats cheap and needs money bad i do pay pal????

i might not be able to get the cold air intake moved to where the battery was but im going to see. its going to be moved outside of engine bay for cooler air being brought in. I also have forgotten that i failed to put the butterfly valves on a vacuum line so im wondering how close to being closed they are or if its stuck open and if it will affect my numbers??? i also want to get a rack and pinion that i will take apart and seal off with some new fluid and new bushings and also get the little spacers so i can turn more of an angle....does anyone know of some steering wheels that are smaller than stock ones that look decent cause i want a smaller????? these are the little things i want to have done before the end of summer
