Well, tonight it snowed like crazy! My buddy Sam is back from San Diego right now and we were just chilin on NICO when I got a great idea.

We decided to take my s14 out to this church parking lot "bigger than s***" and have some fun. It was the first time in the snow with my baby, and boy was it a blast. The best 10 minutes of my whole xmas break. Anyone else doing the same this holiday season???

yeah it snowed like mad here, but it was never slick...i couldn't figure it out. an inch of snow fell on the ground in about 30 minutes and it was as sticky as dry pavement.

Rained last night, turned to freezing rain, roads froze over. 40 car pileup on the Turnpike.Continued freezing rain, mixed with snow. This morning it was raining yet the roads were icy...then it changed over to a mix of rain/freezing rain, and a little bit of sleet. Talk about crappy weather.

But I just came back from lunch and ripped it through the back school parking lot (never realized how huge it was when there are no cars), pretty fun, if everything doesn't ice over again I'll probably go play in some parking lot again tonight.

Hmmm,Don't know about doing doughnuts in my car, but I have run full boost in the snow in my WRX. Does that count?

Since Christmas we've had:

2 feet of snow

then freezing rain for 2 days straight (didn't melt any of the previous snow away since it never got above freezing)

And now another 1.5 feet of snow from last night and expected to snow straight through this eavning.

I'm glad to see you guys are all having fun with this s***..... I can't even get my car out of its parking spot. I've had to rely on my truck (4x4) to get anywhere. :(

I had some parking lot fun with the Altima when it snowed here before Christmas. We had like six inches. :D That's enough, so not lets get going with spring.

It really sucks...... because it's 2 feet of snow... then about an inch of hard crusty ice.... then another foot and a half of snow on top of that. I got the day off from work though... so I think I might head up to my camp for the day! Luckily I'm not without transportation.... my truck will go through just about anything... but I'm not even sure I could get through the trail to the camp.... might be a hike!! All good though.... any excuse to dig out the snowshoes.:D

I took the QX4 to a middle school field and romped around/did donuts (didn't know a 4x4 was so capable...lol) when we had nearly a foot a couple weeks b4 Christmas...that was fun at least :D no way the Jetta could have gone anywhere.

didn't get enough on Christmas day to make it worthwhile...

sorry about the crappy quality

Bah! Snow sucks! i hate driving in it. I can manage the small amounts we get here in DE, but i hate the murder it does to my car. I have bad shocks, so those bumpy chunks of hardened snow hurt! And having to rinse off the salt on the car....GRRRrr...

i can't wait till spring!!! (besides that when autocross season starts!)

Thanx Ben. We really didn't get that much the day I took those pics (Christmas morn) only like three inches tops. I wish I had the pics I took a couple weeks prior when we had 8+ inches but I didn't have a digi cam yet so they are print... :rolleyes All you could see of my Jetta where it was parked was a bit of the Fuba sticking out of a mound of snow :D

I need to get a digi camera soon! I'll get some pics of my parking lot. The plow came through this afternoon and the snowbanks are HUGE! My truck is lifted 5" plus 31" tires and the snow banks are higher than my truck.... almost 7 feet!!!

The parking lot where I work is part of the Maine Mall parking lot. They have huge tractors and bucket loaders filling dump trucks. The trucks then climb a giant hill of snow and dump the load at the top. They've been doing it all day, and when I stopped in to pick up my check... the hill was rising about 25-30 feet above the lot. It is easily 150 feet long and just as wide. I have GOT to get pictures of this.... talk about a sick game of King of the Hill!!! I thought the snow pile was big after our 2 foot Christmas storm, but this one piled on top of that is just ridiculous. I've dealt with copious snow accumulations my whole life, (Killington, VT native) but this is the most I've seen in one time for as long as I can remember.

Sucks for you sky, you got 4 inches, we got the same storm with NO accumulation, just some wet roads.

This winter is gonna be a beast in the northeast. ESPECIALLY for all you guys in New England, I'd hate to be there.

I LOVE IT!!! The more snow the happier I am. It keeps all the little a-holes at home. Those of us with winters beaters get the roads to ourselves (along with rich soccer moms that THINK their SUV will get them anywhere)!

I agree, my beather "the green goblin" aka 91 ford tarus I am willing to take anywhere. Last night someone dared me to bump "lightly" a wall at a parking garage in her, I of course did. I love having a beater, really makes me appreciate my s14.

This winter sucks. We had about 5 minutes of snowing here one night (approx. 0.00000000000001 inches), not even enough to make the roads slick. All winter that's all we've had, not even any rain. And this is Kansas! Go figure.

Hey Getdizzy240, I am from Kansas, and its not that boring. Kansas City has the best damn barb-e-que period. No one can ever argue that either!!!
