I know right.
Thanks bunda. I was kind of mad at myself when I got home and saw that a lot of the pictures came out blurry. You must know how much of a pain it is to take night photos without the flash. I was shooting on manual mode with the with 2-5 second exposure, the lowest f I could go, manual focus, and ISO100.bunda4th wrote:Very nice car.
I will give you a critique on the photography alone here:
Several of those shot are out of focus, for night shot at low iso you will need a tripod unless you can get a good amount of light and keep still. There were several opportunity for better composition in those photo if you were to go to the area like the one where you see all those pipe and stuff in the background.
Not sure what focal length you were shooting at but going with a lower focal length would give a much more dramatic shot. Trying shoot at 18mm and then one at 55mm or higher of the same shot and you will see the difference.
Some of the outdoor shot is also a bit too yellow and ruin the shot a bit (can be fix in post process). If you shoot at a distance try not to have the car in the center because it doesn't look good unless its an up-close shot. Some of those vertical shot I think would had look better horizontal.
For tips on post processing it depends what you are trying to achieve. Just make sure to shoot in RAW format. I am also into photography and had my work professionally critique and I got some good remarks. Here is an example of my shots untouched and PP:
Shot with Nikon D40 with kit lense at 18mm F3.5 ISO200 in Aperture mode
If you need tips and what I use to do the PP just shoot me an email.
Count me in...Its been a LONG while since Ive met up with you guys. I think It was last summer(Labor Day Weekend) @ Turnbull? DAM!Jose3.5 wrote:Round up the troops (you, vegan, chris, louie, anyone I'm missing) and lets have one. Vegan likes to take pictures so the both of us can take them.
