First off, let me address my biggest issue with my setup. This is my power steering reservoir. i am open to any suggestions as to where to place this without redoing the hotpipe. Its my fault for not bolting it back up before taking the car to the muffler shop but what to do with it?

13 deg btdc?!? How much boost are you running? That seems very conservative....When I was running like 7 psi before my JWT set up I barely had the timing retarded and it ran like a champ. The problem with retarded timing is that you WILL get obnoxious low rpm hesitation....it just feels so sluggish. It's amazing what advancing your timing even 2 degrees can do to the overall feel of the power delivery.

we did the retarding of the timing so drastically due to the internal wastegate thats on the turbo. first off, the way that it is set at now, i get boost around 4000 rpms and i boost 9 to 10 psi. Now if i move my wastegate rod to the other position, my swingvalve is completely closed and i get boost around 2000 rpms. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, when the swingvalve is at this position, i boost one bar. Now at that power level, the timing HAS to be retarded to where it is right now. I normally run around with the turbo at the nine psi setting but i dont mind the lack of power around town. The engine still feels strong around town, but i guess it could be quicker with some more timing. Better safe than sorry tho........

I see you still have the battery in the stock position. Could you take another shot from directly above it (mabye a little behind and to the right) so that i can see how your intercooler piping is run? Thanks

holy brown interior is right!!!!!!!! lol. the car on the outside is its original paint so i figure y not keep the brown and y go thru the hassle of seeing black everywhere. Plus after 10 years, the brown grows on ya...............

anyway, ill try to get pics of the cold pipe up for ya. ur battery doesnt need to be relocated, just remove the resonator that sits next to the radiator on the passenger side and u'll b golden. btw, that is a full 2.5" on the cold side.

um well my garage is kinda big, but yes my car sleeps on carpet. the other cars dont but mine does. i figure since i spent so much money on it, y not use my old dorm carpets and let her sleep comfortably. Plus i hear it extends tire life by reducing stress on the sidewalls. lmao.

I have the greddy kit and what they did was just make the lines longer so that it clears the hot pipe all you need its some ruber lines that are slightly longer thats at least how I did mine I guess you could make some custom bracket but the longer lines so it fits seems to be easy and cheep all you need is ps fluid and the cost of the line

You can put the reservoir at the bat of the strut tower. Just extend the lines.I am very interested in the turbo manifold setup. Can you please take more pics of the hot side.

And yes, brown interior is cool!! (mine is brown too)

ill get more pics up of the hotside.......

as for putting the reservoir at the bat of the strut bar, i think the lines would touch the exhaust housing of the turbo, but i will try and see if this will work. As for drilling the spot underneath the tower, will it go thru into the wheel well if i drill thru it?
