I just acquired a 67 520 in pretty good condition. It has the 1300 motor in it with the nikki carb. It starts up on the first crank and runs very well. Everything seems to be in good working order except for the stick having a lot of play in it. Any advice on how to get rid of some of the slop would be greatly appreciated

I have found out the the odometer is not working so now it looks like I need to find another gauge cluster

I had the same problem and there is a cover on top of the gearbox where the shifter goes in take that off there is a ball attached to the end of the shifter with i think nylon cups each side check if there in there or worn
