im lookin into a simple mbc,ive heard from ppl on here to get the joe p.i found them on ebay,but do i want the soft spring model or just the standard one?it says that the soft spring is good for a 7 psi or less increase,which is all i wanna do.just checkin with you guys before i buy it though.thanks

I ran a joe P mbc and I found it too not hold boost all the way. I set it to 12psi and it would stay all the way up till 5k and it would drop a few psi.

It works but probably I would get some sort of ebc

Get the regular one, the soft spring is for cars that are not already turbocharged you're running 7psi already. I have the standard model and mine too loses boost at about 5k. I talked back and forth with Joe himself(great tech support) and he was telling me that because of how small the factory turbo is it would naturally lose boost, it just gets to a point where the turbo is spinning so fast it cant move compress anymore air. This is a common problem with small turbo cars. But anyway for what you pay for it its a great MBC.
