If you are running a 500/1 I would definitely look into getting JL Subs. In my opinion you can't go wrong with JL. W3's, w6's might be a good option for the size of box you have there. JL is pretty pricey stuff though so I think it just depends on how good you want you car to sound. You could go buy some wicked cheap subs from best buy if you just want it to be loud. Just my opinion.

Can honestly say i have never even heard of RE before i joined this forum, and there are no dealers around my area that carry them. But there are lots of people on here it seems that like it, so it might be a good option as well.

That's how it is with most high end audio. To the average person, they have no idea what speakers I'm running (or how good they are considered) either at home or in my car. A lot of the high end companies are priced out of the average person's budget, and they aren't carried at big box stores that people frequent. My list of speakers include: scanspeak, dynaudio, rainbow, critical mass and paradigm (at home). Most will never have heard of any of those. RE is a bit more common, and is well known and regarded amongst enthusiast circles. I would challenge people to get out and find people running those setups to hear what quality is out there. I like RE and would recommend checking them out as well.
