anyone one have any word one this yet? my tranns is out and im thinking about contacting someone at jim wolf to see about getting it is it worth it.or should i find a 240 and do the 6 speed if so?any ideas

Contact Wes (elwesso) he has made and used an adapter plate in is G50/Q45.

thanks ive read up on his 5 speed q on q45.org just wasnt sure if hes messed with the 6 speeds but i should never assume.and seems like hes the one to talk to about this.but i was on jimwolftech and saw the add for the adapter plate saying that they are in the making to contact some email.ill email wess and see what he thinks i should do. i have a mk3 supra im trying to get a 1uz v8 into i think if pull the vh45 out and and find a 240 or maybe a 350 shell from a junk yard who knows fabrication these days anything is possible.

I'm pretty sure Wes looked into doing a 6 spd, but felt the "donor transmissions" weren't readily available or "cost effective". Combine that with the aftermarket work done on the Z32 transmission and the decision was easy for him.

Doesn't mean the Z33 6 spd is a bad idea, just the Z32 is more budget & aftermarket friendly.
