I have tried calling JWT for like 2 days and no one is answering are they closed all week for Christmas or are they just closed down? Their fax machine works...?

I need to find out if they can send me a reChip for my ecu.. and how much they charge to just burn me a chip ... and I install it my self...

IIRC, it's $125 for the chip, with a $250-300 core charge that's refunded once you return the old chip.

...and they WILL NOT waiver on the core charge - My wife tossed the old chip (thought the box was empty!!!)...I called and pleaded for mercy as not to pay the core, they said "go to hell".

SO...moral of the story...return the chip, get your money back.

Prices may have changed, this was a good ~2.5 years ago.

Santa doesn't do ECU programming on Christmas. Guess you'll have to wait till next year. lol

Many companies close for the week between Christmas and New Year's day. Wait till like Jan 2nd to call again.

They charge $100 for a retune. Depending on what your changing, you may have to send them whole ECU.

Well, Do you guys know what size INjecters they do.. Because I know im going to need 720cc or more ? I was told 720cc but I dont think that will be safe for 500RWHP So I might have to pull up the old google and find the formula for figuring out Injecters unless one you guys would kindly tell me . Also what other options should i get since im doing this rechip ? IM thining of having REv lmit pushed to maybe 7500 or 7800rpms?

They can do just about anything you want. Clark is a wiz at programing but they take forever. Once you have you ECU done for $695 each reflash is $100 unless you have them do something like upgrade your MAF to a Z32 or Cobra unit. The price goes up from there. I had my KADET done with 720cc injectors and then put it on the dyno and it was so rich that they couldn't even measure the AF ratio. We played around with base fuel pressure and got it on the chart but still way rich. I ordered an APEXi SAFC-II so that I don't have to keep blowing $100 everytime I attampt to get it right.

^ Yep..!!

I threw mine on the dyno and my wideband was pegged 10.0 ( lowest it reads) and stayed there till about 5k rpm when i raised up to mid 11's...

According to the wideband they attached to the muffler, it was reading in the 8's up till about 5k rpm then it leaned out to low 11's...
