New to nicoclub hi allRecently bought this 93 240sx coupe for 1400$. People tell me i couldve found a coupe in somewhat decent condition for cheaper but its ok im sliding places. Its got some body damage on the passenger door by the hinges (ill take pictures soon) the passenger fender seems to be off a SE hatchback and doesn't match the front bumper. Its shorter. also the passenger headlight is not the stock paint color and is VERY lazy eyed.looks retarded with sleepy eyes. the interior is tan, brown with a 3 or 4 cracks on the dash. I stripped the door panel clothes. looks a lot cleanerso while i was driving my car down from virginia i noticed i was getting horrible mileage. found out that i had exhaust leaks from 3 different places.we cut off the straight pipe put a magnaflow catylac converter (150$ w/ labor) and runs pretty smooth. anyone know if I need a cat to pass NC state inspections?I bought some autozone seat covers to cover up the nasty creases and holes. looks somewhat decent but the cover doesnt look universal as it says on the box haha

anyways ill update this pretty often probably daily drive safe all you JDM whores

i was wondering how i could fix the gap between the fender and the bumper.

for the bottom part of the fender, it doesnt match the bumper linei was told i needed a fender extension for this?

also if you noticed the hood alignment is off and the passenger headlight is not the same color (looks crooked when its up)

any ideas on how to fix these would be appreciated

Yesterday i went to JUST TIRES and got my wheels and tires put on.after paying for everything my car wouldnt start. i took the key out the ignition and heard a wizzing noise from the hood. the starter was stuck on and ended up burning up and smoking. so its just sitting in front of just tires till i get a starter today

Sweet. I paid $1500 for my 92 coupe but it has a silvia front end conversion. Looks like a fun project so far. Be sure to keep us updated. I wish I had some time and some decent weather to do some more work on mine.

Thats a sick car man. sucks that you have to do quite a bit to get it back in shape. I bought an 89 coupe for 4900 lol but where i live is a different story. Ive had no problems with my car so far. Welcome

mmmm and GO!(if you're not already on there) now i'm slightly color deficient, and the relatively dark pictures aren't helping me; but seeing as you have a tan/doo doo brown interior, i'd say you have a green coupe..which is indeed supa rare.

coupes are taking over!

Looks to be in pretty good shape, I don't think $1400 is too bad. Plan on swapping to manual trans?
