Hey, I was in need of an SR20DET swap in my S13 240SX and was wondering if anyone from this board has had experience with this shop? If so, can anybody vouch for them? Thanks.

These guys rock! I picked mine up from them a month back or so. Shaun (pampadori in this forum) really knows his stuff when it comes to the sr20det RWD. Jason is more of the FWD guy. Either way they're both great to work with. Honest and willing to go that extra mile to help you out.

As for the engine, it looks real good, but I haven't put it in yet. Once it's in I'll be letting everyone know.

Well, I could go on, but I think you get the point. I highly suggest them. Also, if you're curious about their knowledge, just do a search on Pampadori and read his posts. You wouldn't think it by looking at him, but he's a really smart guy :D

Sorry Shaun, I couldn't give you all that praise without a little jab thrown in :)

i just bought a s14 sr from them. they both seem to be really nice guys, willing to do whatever they can to help. they replied to every email i sent them. no matter how stupid it was, and how much i whished i had never sent it. reading pampdori's replies (both in the emails and on this forum) tell me he really knows what he is talking about.

HOWEVER, when i was putting the motor in this weekend, i noticed the transmission was full(i mean to the brim) of water. there was also some in the compressor housing. now, i didn't check the motor at all before i bought it. so, this all could have happened after i got it, but there was a lot of water and i have had a tarp over it the whole time. the oil pan was also dendet in quite a bit.

honestly, i still would have bought the motor from them. i don't think any of that is too too bad. the motor does turn, and when priming the moror i got oil pressure almost right away(a hammer helped fix the pan). just be sure to check your motor out first. that should be a no brainer!:pface i would definetly recomend them.
