I bought the JGY fuel rail and 800cc top feed SARD injectors from RHDJapan. The injectors don't fit because JGY made this fuel rail for domestic type injectors. What top feed injectors will fit the JGY fuel rail and the RB25? Will any Precision top feed or MSD style work?

Wow that's really interesting, I would have thought they would make the rail to use with 11mm/import injectors...

If it's made for domestic injectors, you should be able to use any domestic 14mm top feed (Mustang, GM, etc). You'll need to change your injector connectors also.

The SARD injectors are 10.5mm. I did email JGY and they said their fuel rail was made for MSD style injectors. I wasn't sure if this meant all domestic injectors will work with the RB25.

the msd style injectors are about 13mm feed port, i guess you either need to exchange the injectors or the fuel rail for properly fit one.

you can buy fuel-rail extrude (blanks) from Ross Machine Racing, they have -6, -8, and -10 available. $11/ft. http://www.rossmachineracing.com/dash8.htmli made mine out of -8 extrusion. same blanks jgy uses for their rails. funny they charge $150 for a < $25 in material with 6 drilled ports

That's a great deal and can't be too bad to fab up.

BoostsFed - I'm VERY interested in making my own rail if I can buy blank -8AN for $11/ft. Plus I could have the return line orifice sized and tapped to match my FPR line fittings and located where I want it. Can you give more details, or is it as simple as having holes drilled to match the diameter of the injectors that you plan on fitting?

To add to that, how did you fasten your rail to the intake manifold?

it's as simple as drilling the rail to port match the injectors. measure carefully, make sure it's smaller than the O-Ring, so it can seal better. also make sure your drill press is stable and drill straight. look at any top-mount fuel rail and you'll see it's just a straight through. as far as mounting goes, the lower part of the fuel rail are solid, you can drill and tap any holes for the mounting bracket. then tap both ends and put in your favorite fitting for the feed and return lines. i will try to get some pictures posted when i get my digital camera back from a friend.

Sounds easy enough. Do you know off-hand what the injector spacing is on the RB25?
