If you're talking about the top mount T3 manifold, It's the same chinese junk everyone else sells. When I put it on there were problems with the holes lining up correctly, and problems with the turbo hitting the valve cover. We have lots of threads here on this manifold, do a search... It will work if you put some work into it, otherwise you're better off buying a better manifold or sticking with stock.

yeah, was either this or have my buddy make one... but sounds like what mark and everyone else with ebay mani's is doing by putting more work into it..would rather start from scratch and spend a little more to have a better fit.

thanks for input guys

just use your stock manifold and get the 35r that has internal gate and you will be fine. the stock manifold is very capable.

the really funny part is that they buy the top hat mounts directly from them and then sell them as jgy mounts

My thought are if your considering buying something that is a knock off then dont post any questions. Everyone will bash you and run off at the mouth about how anything thats not name brand is junk. Do the research and decide on your own if its worth the money.

Search if you dont want any of this

Don't get that manifold. There is another design out there that fits alot better than that one. My cheap friend got it for like $250 I think. It looks like the one Phase 2 sells, the other China manifold.

i also used one of the ebay china craps for about 8 months (2-3 track events) and it held up, i.e. didn't crack. it did blow gaskets until i got both surfaces decked which killed the thickness of my flange. still worked ok though. put a lot of time into modding it to get it to fit. i never had a problem with the manifold itself bolting to the head. my mods were all to clear the wastegate. due to the crappy design (i think), i DID get boost creep though. after i fit my greddy on the boost creep is gone completely. just something else to think about when you ask if saving the 500 or so is "worth it". that answer is different for everyone

Are you currently running this setup? I am having trouble keeping boost from going through the roof with the internal gate 35R. That and finding/making a 3/4" spacer to clear the cam covers was a pain.

my previous car with a rb20det used an adapter and a 38mm gate and held boost solid at 10psi. of course i sold that car 3 years ago.

I'm currently working on a version two of the adapter, which allows you do a top mount with the stock manifold. which will be use on my R&D rb25 s13 setup.

thx for the link broseph

gawdzilla, i think he fixed his creep by making the WG runner longer.

but looks like that's up my alley being i lost my job not too long ago, can't go all out anymore ..apparently sleeping on the job isn't tolerated, no matter how good of an employee you are...haha
