Ok...So I had this idea when I ordered my tickets...In order to get really good parking...and to insure the safety of my ride...I would enter my car into the "car show"...

Anyone who has seen my ride would consent that its good enough for a show...More of a daily driver, but ****...new paint/kit/SR/clean wheels...why not?

Anyhow...The point of this semi-rant...

I recieve the tickets in the mail yesterday and guess what? If you are registered for the car show, you have to DROP OFF your car on Friday and LEAVE IT till Sunday...

WTF?

Can someone explain WHY this has to be the case? Anyone with show experience??

Im not sure why they do that but I know my boyfriend had to setup and leave his car at the IX center on Fri. for HIN that was Sat. My guess would be that they do this for judging so their not trying to fight tons of people and also so they can do any less minute preparation and setup for the show. I'm sure Jerry (nsrz32) will contribute and tell you why, he's been to a lot of shows like that Right Jerry? lol

Its a big event. It'll be retarded to bring the car Saturday morning, go back home at night and then go back again on Sunday. It takes a while to setup the cars. ALso I'm pretty sure they'll be setting up the booths on Friday.

All big shows are like that, have to drop off in advance and set up then pick up your car afterwards. When I worked for Autometer it was the same at events across the country that I worked. Just the way it is I guess.

Yea...time indeed...I am having the tint fixed to day, and will be spending most of tonight cleaning the interior and engine bay...tomorrow morning: wash, polish and wax baby.
