JGS turbo

Has anybody used the JGS turbo kit? If so how was the quality of the kit. Did it make good power? Getting ready to do a KA-T build and want the best kit. How much power can the stock internals take, what boost?

Man there is a thread with almost the same name 8 posts down and the JGS kit has been talked about a lot. To answer your questions:

Has anybody used the JGS turbo kit?Answer: I bought mine, waited 4 weeks to the day, and got it on Tuesday. The quality is awesome and the kit was worth the wait. Everything looks good.

If so how was the quality of the kit.Answer: The JGS kit has been said to be of very of best quality (which it is) and the best bang for the buck in terms of getting a JGS kit, Greedy kit, or IAP kit. Lance sells very good products.

Did it make good power? Answer: No... it made the car slower.... duh of course it makes good power. Search up on the manifold design at http://www.ka-t.org

How much power can the stock internals take, what boost?Answer: Before you dive in read up on stuff, it really helps. Trust me. Stock internals about 300hp and no more than 10-12psi.

Sorry for asking the same questions guys. I still kinda new here and I haven't really figured out how to work the search right. Thanks for the info though.

its ok, youre forgiven. yeah the search is kinda funky, but the trick to it is to be as broad as you can. for example, just type in jgs as what youre searching for, and then look for it in post bodies and not titles. youll prob find one of my threads in there. i have a jgs kit and the quality is real nice. havent drove it yet though
