I was looking for exhaust manifolds, and that took me to JGS and then i started reading about their starter package. http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/index3.html Has anyone had experience with this? And i wanted to hear back from anyone who has bought JGS stuff /manifold/wastegate/BOV as to their quality and reliability? Thanks -lyons

For the love of GOD, search! There's been dozens of posts on JGS stuff...it's good, quality stuff for low-budget, low-boost set ups.

What is with the influx of all these questions that have been beaten to death already?!?! It's starting to annoy the hell out of me, as well as clutter the boards....

Easy, you were a noob once too. JGS makes a good product, but you will want to search. The turbo is Garrett so it is quality, and the rest of the gear isn't brand name, but it is quality.

it's a VERY good kit. The owner (lance) made 350+ hp with his manifold and other of his equipment. that's the kit i will be ordering asap. Def. a good place to start at.

I bought their trans mount and nismo motor mounts. It is clearly a SBC mount, but they make it work for KA. It is made by Energy, and it seems of good quality, if not for the fact that you have to build it yourself. It took a long time to get, but I bought it on Christmas, so they were probably closed on the Holidays. Also, I emailed them to complain about the lack of info, but I just checked the wrong email. Long story, made long, I give them a B+.

The quality of their "kit" depends alot on how well it is put together. In general though, they are pretty much just your standard pipes that can be assembled to form a very solid, low cost log-style manifold. ...Just make sure you get it welded properly.

Havnt heard alot about their WG and BOV, although I would be interested to hear since I've been looking at those parts myself.

I feel your pain man. We have been having quite a bit of new people coming over and asking some noob questions haha. Its a good thing, though, down the road maybe one or two of them will aquire enough knowledge to start helping other people out.

i agree with foster, if their mani is welded up properly, it is one of the most stress free mani's out there with such a price. i am also interested on feedback on their bov and wastegate too tho.

I agree as well. Their log manifold makes it easy to fit any turbo you would want.

However, their "DIY manifold kit" can be pieced together for much less than what they're asking for. Just buy some weld elbows and t's, and the flanges, and you'll have the same product for much less.

same with oil lines.. you can make those yourself/peice them together as well.
