THE ENGINE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO NOT NEED IT. I DON'T THINK THAT EVEN THOSE 800HP RB30 HAVE THEM.

yes it can be done... I know JWT does this same thing for the SE-R guys wanting to go turbo... and from what ive seen SR VG RB all the oil squirters are the same, even the same starheaded bolt holding them on... if i was you and i was building a rb30det.... which i will some day, I would do the oil squirters. Dont go all out and still do it half arse. do it right let every one else blow their motors. later.

It 'can' run fine without squirters, but comming from some1 that has melted a piston in a RB30ET, i'm fitting them to my new RB30DETT. Squirters are mainly for piston cooling.

WHICH CAN BE DONE JUST AS EASILY WITH LIGHTER, STRONGER PISTONS. YES ITS AN INSURANCE POLICY BUT ITS NOT REQUIRED, JUST SAFE/CONSERVATIVE TUNING.
