Jet Performance Tuner

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Good morning,

By chance does anyone have experience with Jet Performance Tuners for our car. The price is right and i'm looking for something mild. Thanks and happy holidays!

I don't have direct experience with that, but I would highly doubt it would actually add any HP. The ECU's in later model cars (say post 2000) are pretty well optimized, unlike older vehicles. A lot of times these "tuners" will just mess around with the throttle by wire to make it feel peppier, but it doesn't really add any HP.

Thank you for the response. I did E-mail Jet and they said their tuner is not a tuner at all, it simply messes with the air and fuel so who knows how it will run. It seems like Uprev and ECUTEK are the only real reputable tunersout there. I checked with Cobb and Hypertech and neither have a tune for the 2014 model year.

You don't want anything that simply changes air/fuel. You are correct in looking at real tuners such as those you mentioned. Cobb stopped selling tuners for N/A applications back in '09, just a bit after I picked one up for my '08.
