JET Performance ECU reflash

Does anyone know much about these? I was reading an old book I had & I noticed their advertisement.

I did look around on their website & I noticed that they do offer a flash for the J30. My question is would it be worth it? If not, what other viable options would I have for ECU tuning?

The performance ECU "reflash" is a chip. A resistor chip to be exact. Its been discussed on this forum before. It does nothing for performance. Many years ago a member bought the chip and also bought a resistor chip at the local Radio Shack (for cheaper) and reported back after dynoing pre and with chip that it actually slowed his J down. Save your money.

im currently working with Ash from Ash Spec Z. I have my ECU chipped currently with a daughter board setup. this allows you to be able to tune and then flash the Eprom chip. he finally got one to work with the stock map and is sending me a tuned chip. he primarily works with 300zx so doing this is similar, but the J30 cannot use the 300zx ECU so he had to create a custom chip. i'll let you guys know where this goes and how much of a power gain i get and see what he can do for us J30 owners.
