JET PERFORMANCE ECU, does anybody know or heard of them?

ONLY for ADVANCED technical discussion about the 240sx!

i bought this car off this guy, which came with a JET chip. its seems like they didnt tune it write to the mods i have cuz im not getting all the hp im suppose to get...has anybody heard about this site or have a chip from this site?

how do you know you arent getting the power? a JET chip will only give you probably 5whp

wat r u talking about? i have the chip, but i have to tune to be able to get all the hp outta my car. n chip dont do ****! u gotta tune it.

JET chips arent tuneable.

they are drop in's that are pre tuned for a few extra HP. you send jet the ECU, they socket it, install their chip, send it back and you reinstall it

uhmm. interesting. damn JET. then how can i fix this problem, get another ecu? like from JWT?

......have it rechipped for your particular modifications, or sell it, buy a stock ecu and get a piggyback.

the jet ecu for the honda k20a3 was proven to be nothing but a high dollar sticker. the rev-limit wasn't changed, which is the first thing tuners do on hondas. one member on CRSX.com read his ECU, and dyno'ed it before and after, and re-read the ECU, and there was absolutely NO DIFFERENCE! the kicker was, the only employee of jet that had a K motor, had the HONDATA reflash, "coz he wanted a higher redline".

omg! it seems like the last owner of my car didnt know what he was getting. is it a good idea to go to the junkyard and get a stock ecu and then get a piggy back? it sounds like a good idea, but the stock ecu wouldnt work with the pdm cams right, since its a stock ecu?it'll run like sh**. can i get a piggy back for a stock ecu, or do i need an upgraded ecu to be able to get a piggy back?
