Anyone have experience with this on a 3.5 A/C? Do these things reprogram the existing chip or do you need to add a socket/burn a new chip/etc? I'm good with electronics but simpler is always better. For about $300 it might be an easy way to play around to gain a few HP? (Or blow the thing up?)

I did search but found nothing really specific on this.

there has been at least one thread in the past about it but with no real usefull info.... idk on the other questions but jet is a legit company and so i dont think that they would just be screwing you.... get it and try it out.... im almost positive that noone here has it... take the plunge and if it doesnt work or you dont like it, return it but either way let us know.

....if you want.....

Jet makes a lot of programmers, so I figured they were reputable. But I still don't know if their kit reprograms the existing chip. Anyone?

Nope, the only company that may reprogram our ECU is technosquare, and they haven't done anything yet officially with the A/C, and you have to send them, your ECU. There is no pigtail for our car, and I doubt there will be, Nissan's ECU is very difficult to hack.
