anyone interested in an autocross meet? there's one happening on Aug.22 in Giants stadium, in one of the prkng lots. I think it a Sunday- I'm sure it's a Sunday. It'll be nice - you can check out each others cars and at the same time, if you want to run, see who can really drive their 240's. So what do you guys say. fun runs are only $3.

what do i need to be able to race for fun? It wil be my first time and i dont plan on being that competative at all.

to do the "fun runs" the website says that you have to be there for the briefing, usually at 9am, just so you know how the whole thing goes. but I seen people who just show up in the afternoon and pay the $3 and do their runs. A drawback to doing the fun runs is waiting for the registered people to do their runs (usually last from 10am to 4pm). sometimes people don't get to do fun runs because of a big turnout. another con of doing funruns is when you hit a cone you have to stop and pick it up. This doesn't happen when you're registered. I prefer paing the $40 for 4 heats (4laps=1heat). i registered my first time around and found it to be a more rewarding 1st time experience.

i went but no one was there, i did 4 laps around the mall then i bounced did u guys go? if so where were u at? i just got back from the mall

yea we were there from like 1pm till like 3-330 .. we were chillin at the end of the lot by joes bbq... then we wetn to 7-11 and it was too hot so we was in the parking deck..
