ok so i did a KA-DE swap into my '89 SOHC hatch, well the engine mounts were screwed up so the driveshaft was basically rammed into the back of the transmission and it would bind up on takeoff causing rattling, shaking, and jerking, got that fixed but the clutch is almost gone too as i didn't have money for a new one, my question is...would the clutch cause the hopping, skipping and jerking when leaving a dead stop(it doesn't engage until very top, and car won't move without giving it gas), or is there something else, i've heard about Diff bushings going bad but i have swapped two vlsd's for welded diffs on friend's cars and i don't remember any bushings on the diff? i have new clutch, a good trans, possibly driveshaft and a welded to go in...so all new drivetrain...will the problem go away or is there something else i should look at? Thanks!!!
