Hey,

We've got a pretty good argument going on today, and I was wondering what you guys thought.

This Ken Jennings guy has one 75 straight shows and has won almost 3 million dollars. He is the "best" contestant they have ever had. But now... People are saying that its a rating sham. According to rumors, he will lose today and it will be the end of the Ken run, but it should be a huge ratings booster especially since the past couple of episodes have had a major drop in ratings.

I think is a rating conspiracy, and that they help him either with the buzzer or give him questions he knows...

Some of my friends agree, some think I am a conspiracy buff and am looking too much into it. What do you guys think??

Possible but Jeopardy has been around for a good while and they've had plenty of time to just do that before.

Who knows. But the real question is who cares? I mean is anyone here going to lose sleep if Jennings loses or are they glued to the TV cause he's winning? I doubt it.

Correct... and I do understand that youdont find jeopardy interesting, but I know that there are people on here that find it enjoyable to shout answers at the tv and see what they know.

Im just wondering if anyone feels like this is rigged like I do, or if Im just being crazy.

I heard like a month and a half ago that he was going to lose on the 75th one, but that's because it had already been taped. Jepordy isn't live, I think they just try to keep the results a secret (usually no one cares anyway), just like survivor, or any of those shows that are tapped waaaay before hand.

I think we need to look at the real winner.

the guy on College Jeopardy that made his final wager $1,337.

Haha....I didn't know that. I probably wouldn't have even thought about it unless you brought it up like that either. Quite clever though. Somebody from NICO should get on and wager $240.

We have known he was going to loose since September. That's when they were filmed.

And no it isn't a conspiracy. The game show industry, especially one of the big three wont go through the embarassment of a scandal like what happened in the 50's with Quiz Show, or what the name of that show was.

But, I will say this much to Ken.... Fed Ex??? That was a stupid answer!!!! Even I knew it was tax related!!!!!! And H&R Block is the only tax company I can think of, so I would have gotten that stupid question right. You let me down man. But you are still my hero.

And yes, if I can drag my sorry butt out of bed in time to watch Jeopardy, I do. It is the only show I try to watch as often as possible.
