for any of you 5 luggin' S13 owners, have any of you experimented with the 5 lug meshes from a Jeep Cherokee? I could get them for a good price at the junkyard but I wanted to know if anybody knows about the fitment issues and overall appearance of the rims on the S13. I would only imagine they wouldn't look so bad....

Good call on those rims. A google search says the 1st gen Grand Cherokee (93-98 is called the ZJ) has the correct PCD (5x114) and an offset of +35mm. The center bore is 71.5 so it should fit well on a 240.

The rim size should be like 15x7or8. Might need a roll depends on what size tire your running I suppose. I dont know anything about sizing so ill let someone else chime in

Are these the wheels youre looking for? They are 15x7 if this link is correct.http://www.autopartswarehouse....11U85

Here's a link that says the 15x7's have 5.25" backspacing, which is +32mm offset.http://www.geocities.com/jeepfaq/wheels.html#stock

Are you talking about the old school BBS/Enkei mesh wheel?

why would you wanna do a 5 lug conversion for a rim that offered in a 4 lug with perfect offset and a lip. go to your local junk yard and look for mkII supra's: 4x114.5 +0 (some trim models, not all tho).i have them too.

He doesnt want to deal with redrilling rotors everytime and things like that. And more options when it comes to 5 lug than 4 lug. I know some wheels for the jeep have deeper lips. Adrian, is that picture of the 4 lug mesh the one on your car right now?

it still doesnt make sense to me. s13's arent 5 lug stock, the only reason why i'd ever convert to 5 lug is either for baller rims (not those apparently) or bigger brakes (z32 etc). if the 4 lug meshies dont clear z32 brakes, i'm sure the jeep 5 lug meshies wont either, especially knowing that theyre the same size (offset?)... (not sure tho)

Ive never seen those wheels on a Grand Cherokee before, but maybe on older Cherokees. If youre going for meshies, I personally would look for something with a nice lip. I like the meshies Adrian posted.

Crown Vic meshies are nice too. I was planning on getting a set of those. They have a two step lip that looks pretty nice IMO. Size is 16x7 with less than 10mm offset. The net says 6.4mm but I measured around 8mm on the only wheel I bought from the junkyard. FYI, the older CV's (pre 98) have the nicer version.

im simply going 5 lug because i came up on deals for them, including these wheels. i already have the q45 brakes that will clear these wheels, and i just need wheels to roll on. i needed temporary wheels and this is what i found. jdm tyte rims come later. i would have come up on 5 lug steelies, but i cant find any...

everytime i come up on CV rims, some mexican guy always beats me to it. the wheels at the yard here are $10 per wheel, regardless of condition. and i would never rock OG supra rims on my s13.
