If you've personally had problems with JE, whether it be customer service or with their products please post it here. I'd hate to see members getting screwed on a continuious basis.

Keep this on topic, all posts are subject to moderation.

Rock S. got 2 sets of JE pistons that were screwed up (no oil jets cut in them and the wristpins were the wrong size)

I know a few other guys who have had issues, but Rock is the only one where I have actually held the piston and seen the problems.

Well, it only took 4 weeks to get my custom 8.5:1 pistons from JE, and they came out perfect... So.... Mark that up for one non-complaint. :)

It's been since December 30th since I've (well.. the shop) ordered my 8.5:1 CR pistons. I think they just got in on Thursday of last week (3-6-03.)-Jeff

I had problems with my order, first they sent me the wrong size piston (about 2 months after my order), then they sent me a piston with a doom top(1 more month), had to pay the machine shop to cut it down. but my problem was about as much fault with JE and with the machine shop.

lets just say if i could do it again, i would have had the machine shop only do machine work (and not worry about ordering parts), and i would have gotin my pistons and rods from realnissan.

I have nothing but compliments for JE. Their employees are very knowledgable and take time to help someone out. I got my pistons in 3 weeks (during christmas) and they were perfect!!

I am sure JE has made a few mistakes but most of the time its the purchaser that makes the mistake.

This isn't a JE bashing thread. Just somthing for consumers to read. I've used there piston to rebuild a 502. I never had any problems with them at all.

Well. They sent me the wrong pistons last Friday. So now I'm waiting longer for the correct pistons. Stupid JE.-Jeff
