Basically I am planning on doing the common swap sometime in the undetermined future and I want to gather all the info I can before I do the swap. In all other things in life, video tutorials have helped me more than anything else... now I just need to find which vid is best. (I may end up getting them both eventually)

I have a single cam ka... not sure how big of a difference that makes...

this one is shorter... but has wiring as part of the vid

This one is a lot more comprehensive... but doesnt have wiring...

anyway which ones have you guys seen and how helpful are they?

I have a swap dvd... I watched it 3 times... Like you, I normally learn by watching/doing but these videos are very dull. They did me no good whatsoever. It came down to me reading the FAQ and following the instructions. Seriously, the FRSport guide is the best tool there, because it includes the common problems. The videos show a guy doing a swap that's done them 100+ times and experiences no problems at all. As far as the wiring, it goes back to FRSport. They have a wiring guide as well, and it's seriously easy. You just splice your KA harness with the SR Harness and done sir done. Tape up or cut off the connectors you dont need and plug it right up.

I kinda disagree. I've viewed both, and while they ARE a little dull, they're a good addition to your repertoire of knowledge.

I like them because you can kind of get a "visual" on things as you go along.

Ill probably just buy them both. For 20 each it cant hurt to learn a little more. My knowledge of engines is definitely lacking but I am ambitious and eager to learn so I don't think I will have any trouble watching a dull video.
