hey guys whats up been on here a while just researching but not posting much. im 18 going to Universal Technical Institute and thats pretty much an all day thing so not making to much money. decided to start up my ka-t build since the other forums im on i dont get to many replys or input (240sxone) i dont expect it tho since its really pointed at new englanders like myself. but here i am and lets get started. picked up an s14 se 1996 with about 150k on it. got it from an old man dont i dont think its ever been in high rpms before me (not that thats a good thing but it hasnt been beat). completely stock just a lil rust on bottoms of fenders where leaves were festating. but perfect framed and never in any accidents besides maybe a carriage hitting it in the rear ( dont know where the dent came from but no signs of a major hit) lets get into it!
first day i got it

couple weeks later i picked up some coilovers for cheap money megan racing pretty much brand new

yup compression has already been tested. one of the first things i did. actually i did it while i was looking to buy it. it came up 175 across the board. which i thought was pretty good for a 150k. checked out the tans fluid that still had its color and weight no hard shifting or grinds and clutch was mint and still grabbed hard.

and for wheels im undecided gonna keep it simple and reasonably cheap maybe some rota p45r's or xxr552/962 but still im undecided not really lookin for them im focused on my motor and turbo situation right now

after the coilovers i picked up some kouki tails. (i want to keep a semi good balance of a good looking clean car/ one that i can get on and race someone/drift a little bit..so thats how im going about buying parts)
Image

then came the decision of what i was going to do about a motor. i had the thought of and rb25 or rb20 and then a little change to an sr20 but in the end it came down to taking the ka-t challenge. so one late friday night i took the 2 hour trip up to nh to pick up a (begginers turbo kit) kit included sr t25, megan bottom mount manifold in good condition, jgs oil kit, sr 370cc injectors, z32 MAF, romtuned ecu for 7psi (s13) and an s13 semi cut harness. not going to use the harness or the ecu bc of the fact it being s13. i was thinking about buying just the kit but then the kid said he barely had time to pull the motor and everything was still on it. so i said ah wth and bought the motor with it. (blown) not sure what went wrong lost compression unknown miles. also got another t25 since the one on the motor blew smoke so he threw in a good one. (dont trust either of them since theres more shaft play in the supposedly good turbo) going to end up either rebuilding the bad one or getting rid of both and buying another t25 or t28. so hears some pics of the motor and turbo kit after i dissambled.

been awhile since ive come on here but im not getting to much feed back on 240sxONE so i figured id give this another shot. since my last update i traded my kit for a running s14 ka and some money. then i put my engine back in and got everything working fine. bought the isis 3 inch stragiht pipes. lowered it a little more and have just been driving/drifting the s*** out of it. recently i aquired a new kit and think i got a great deal on it. heres some pics
