JDM version J30???

Did they ever release the J30 in japan as something else??

Run a search for Nissan Leopard J. Ferie on google, after some patience you'll hit some Japanese enthusiast sites with pics.

Thanks..did some searching, I was hoping to come accross some type of VIP kit or something...maybe JDM taillights etc, but from the pics the only difference I see is the front grill, cloth interiors and rhd. Oh and the option for a V8.

Some J30's had a front spoiler which is unique, they come up from time to time on the Yahoo Japanese auctions. They are very expensive to import. The US J gauge cluster design has some is different because the US uses Imperial and the Japanese use metric (However Canadian cars came with the JDM unit(which has some extra stuff) since like the Japanese we use metric). Other than that it is the same car that sold in Japan.

Don't look to japan. Generally, their powerplants are much smaller than ours. The Y34 Cedric (our first M45) came with a VG20P there. Versus the VK45DE here. See what I mean?
