I've got a dude in Japan looking for Terrano Regulus headlights for me, and asked me if he wants to tell me if he finds HID headlights for other Terrano models -- I thought I'd pose the question here to see if anyone else would be interested. He says the Regulus lights are tough to find, but seems to indicate the others may be easier.

I don't have a price, but he'll probably find them and then I'll cry because it'll be stupid expensive.

Nissan Terrano Regulus (sold as infiniti QX4 here in USA) come with clear corners in Japan. Here in america the QX4 has amber corners.

Why pay $300+ to get QX4 clear corners shipped here from Japan, When I will clear your QX4 corners for a low price of $80 (includes shipping back to you) Please email [email protected] for details.

Infiniti QX4 clear corners (note: 97-00 only)

absolutely. . I told him I'll need Regulus, but I told him I may know others who may want other models (I may have told him I'm on NICO )

And yeah, this dude is in Japan, fortunately that's not the Terrano there

I dunno what the price is, he doesn't know either because he hasn't been offered a price for them. . so I dunno... may be a retarded idea.

i bet the price is gonna be insane, not to count shipping them to the states.

p.s. the front on this one is kinda cool, looks honda/acuraish a bit but still different.

Yeah I'm terrifed of the price, but hey if he finds them, at least we'll know right?

It's just that he'll hate me when I'm like "holy hell!! NO WAY!"I wish he could give me a ballpark ahead of time to avoid that.

The ones from 96-99 look exactly the same as US, unless you get the HID ones which have a projector.

To me it's not so much about throwing HID on there. . If I was going to do that, I'd end up buying and trying to retrofit projectors, since it's a rare thing to get it to work with the incorrect optics -- sometimes it comes out okay... I'm not real keen on losing my high beams. I guess you can get the HID with hi / lo, but I'm sort of put off by that.

I guess I like all OEM parts. . fortunately, the QX4 (and Pathfinder) is almost entirely unmolested from the Japanese version. . usually they'll remove a bunch of cool stuff and screw us over, but that's like the only thing I want.

no joke, id much rather spend the dough to get the real deal than start cutting and splicing and doing all kindsa stuff. makes for a much cleaner finished project.

A friend has McCulloch HIDs on his MKIV GTI, and they actually work well. . fortunately, he has separate high beams and the beam cutoff is nice. He got lucky. . another friend put them on a 99 Maxima and it was horrendous.

If you have to get a retrofit, I'd say that brand is probably the nicest. I'd totally use it for my fog lights (3000K).
