I emailed Tein USA, sadly they dont have a dampachi costume right now but they love the idea. Would be cool if they go threw with the idea of making one:Dand me doing it even better lol

here's a question. what is the correct pronunciation of tein? is it like the japanese pronunciation which would be tayn, or the german pronunciation which would be tine?

t-in. that is freakin' awesome. haha, knowing me, i'd stick him in the front seat and buckle him in, but start hilucinating and imagine him as my navigator. someone needs to do a commercial with him and the michelin man and any other mascots from car parts companies going on a road trip bugging to crap outta each other and causing all kinds of JDM TyTe mayhem.

although I believe that it is "tayn" in the Japanese pronunciation, I'm quite sure that nobody cares...
