I installed a JDM gauge cluster into my car whenever I did my motor swap (CA) a while back and noticed it had an annoying chime that comes on at about 60mph. The cluster was free to me and my old USDM did not work. Just wondering if anyone knows how to disengage that annoying bastard? Thanks

Never heard of that before. Does it just keep beeping if you stay at 60?

It was a common feature on cars in japan back in the 1980's that usually starts sounding at 100km/h. Not a clue on how to disable it though, sorry.

It'll be neat for about 5 minutes. Then you'll wonder why you ever wanted the door ajar sound dinging at freeway speeds.

yeah its a little box underneath the fuse box panel plastic.. you can yank the wire out of it and it should stop the dinging.
