JDM Sil80 Front End...

What do you guys think... Do the JDM Sil80 front end look better on...

Hatchback orCoupe?:(

(The one with the projector headlights... sorry if i called it wrong i'm new to 240SXs:) )

Hey!!... my corolla is a fun car...

I mean the one for the S13... Silvia? the one with triple projector headlights...

This one i mean... Would it look better done on a coupe or a hatchback... what do you guys think??

It looks good on both (you know that they do look remarkably similar since they are almost the exact same car)... I like hatchback's better, but the front end looks good on either one.

Well.... by definition.... it's a silvia front end. The Sil80 is a silvia nose smacked onto a 180sx. I think it would look nice either way, but if you put it on the fastback... you would basically have the looks of a real Sil80.

BTW.... if you do swap that front end on either car.... those colored bulbs look LAME!!!!

Most likely it is automotive paint!:D j/k

It's hard to tell.... looks like silver/pearl with some other tones blended in..... the hood looks like it has metal flake too.

I think Sil80's look lame. I don't like them, the 180SX lines don't match up right for a Silvia front end. I will never put a Silvia face on my car.

Technically if you have a coupe with the popup lights in Japan it is called a "One-Via"

I will just stick with my silly popups.

most people either like it or really dont like it as far as looks, its all your own opinion.

As far as im concered, i hate when my pop-ups get stuck and i like the idea of losing 30 or so pounds off the front end by going with fixed headlights. but that just because i want a car with neutral handeling.

I love Silvia conversions, if I had a coupe, I would be getting that conversion as fast as I possibly could, but since I have a hatch, no Silvia face will ever grace it.

the lights are different becausethe first one (silver one) has triple projectors and the black one you posted has dual halogens (spelling?)platinum240sx

Is there anyone here with the racing style headlight asseblys instead of the pop-ups?I saw one last month somewhere with them and it looked sweet!

I was asking a bad question... I actually want to know are those both JDM S13 Silvia headlights even though one of them has projectors and one don't?Is one of them Zenki and one of them Kouki style?

for give me for the noob question but did the 180SX ever come factory with the silvia front end? If so what was it called and where was it sold? Does anyone have a picture of one of these? I can't imagine it looking all that great on a hatch.

you be wrong.

the sileighty was actually produced by nissan for a couple years. it was japan only. they made them both with the kouki and the zenki/chuki tails. the 1/4 panel glass and rear panel said "SILEIGHTY" on them and they are uber rare. only 500 were produced with the kouki tails.

I heard the exact same story... don't know if it is true or not... I'm pretty sure it is very true. But I heard the production number was 400.
