its good your gettin a pair..really cleans it up the look with none of that amber, and installation is as easy as adobo. And worry not about the fender rust.

Well, you will have to drill a hole in the fender, obviously. After drilling the hole, I would get some primer, and prime the heck out of the area that you drilled. You might be best to take off the fenders, and paint the edges if you are really worried about rust. The fact that you live on the eastern seaboard, I am guessing that the roads are salted in the winter? If so pull the fenders, and paint both sides well around the holes.

NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE....YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DRILL ANYTHING!!!

I have the "Z" emblem side marker/turn signals on my Z. When you take off the stock emblems, the wires for the new markers will go through the holes that are already there for the alignment posts for the old emblem. Will post a video later. I have not had any problems with them. I put them on over a year ago, and they work great...great conversation starter when you go to Z meets at night.

NO, don't use those ones either...looks like you are trying to make your Z into a BMW. Plus you can't see the Z very well. Most people who have those, and then see mine wish they had found my style first. http://s194.photobucket.com/al...0.flv

The install was not to difficult. The part comes with very good instructions. If you have really big hands, your gonna need to take off your front wheels. One thing your gonna need to do, (and the instructions don't say) is heat up the emblems with a hair dryer. They are only held on with double sided tape. This will soften up the tape, and make them "pop" off much faster and with less chance of damage to the fender. Now comes the bad news... I searched for awhile and could not find anyone that has this style anymore. Everyone is into the "led" fad, and the manufacture of these markers has followed suit. This is where I got mine from, and they look like this now.

I even called the nissan place, and they said that my style has been discontinued. I don't know what they were thinking...not every change/fad is a good one. They should have kept a good thing going . Hope this helped in some way. The only good thing I see about the new ones is that they are available in more colors than amber. Good luck in your install.
