jdm s13silvia swap on 90 240sx

ok, i just swapped a redtop sr2odet into my 1990 240sx, i bought a frontclip and have used almost everything off of the clip to do my swap. I got it running about a week ago and everything but the gauge cluster is working fine. ive done some reserch on getting the gaugecluster to work, and the only info ive found is on converting it from a s13 that came with a ka24de, mine of course came with a ka24e, anyone who has done this, or knows what to do plese help me out..

Swap the entire cluster. Or buy a gauge cluster and remove just the tach and put it in your ka24e cluster.

ive already tried both the stock cluster and the jdm cluster, on the stock dash wiring harness with the stock plugs...both of them pretty much just do the same thing wich is go haywire... about half of the lights work, and none of the guages work(sometimes the speedo will barely bounce, and it will show that i have a full gas tank for a second even if i dont)

So when you put a cluster from a 180sx or from a 91+ 240sx (ka24de) they go crazy? But your stock one from the 90 240 work perfectly without any problems?

im not just going for the jdm look, i actually want to know what i have to wire to get the whole gauge cluster to work.

the only gauge clusters i have are the stock one from a 90 with a ka24e, and the one from a 91 silvia with a redtop sr20det..
