Hey all.I'm wondering if I can use the JDM RWD SR20DET pistons for my USDM FWD SR20DE?I have them in hand....and was wondering if they would make a good upgrade for the SR20DE?Would it lower the compression of the SR20DE?I figured it would be good for boost.....what about the SR20DET rods? interchangeable?

doesn't matter. I've still got a full set of OEM rings for what was gonna be on my pistons but decided to go with forged pistons which come with new rings. Let me know if you want em.

get the cheap usdm rings. jwt sells fancy forged pistons with a part number to take to your local nissan dealer to get some good old stock nissan rings. those stockers are good. they are so good that i bought some for my rebuild before i found a broke piston and decided to go forged.

the block is at the machine shop now getting a test bore so i know what size pistons to get.

then i need do make a torque plate because there is no way in heck i am shipping my block to jwt or jgy to pay too much for their torque plate bore. i sold my rings along with fwd sr20 headgasket and a fwd jdm intake manifold all to some guy who got a great deal. i have many more pics of the destruction in my members rides gallery.

turboimports: please forgive the thread jack. i believe this is all pertinent.
