Sooo, ive had a silvia clip laying around for a while, and decided to source the front brakes. but when i took them off, i noticed that the rotors are bigger than the ones on my s13. Is this correct? or did someone in japan do a brake swap on the silvia clip i have?

that was a conversion. there is no such thing as a factory 5-lug s13.

Actually, ya, it was. Is that true for the usdm 240's as well? or just the jdm s13"s?

btw, just so theres no mixups, its 4-lug, not 5 lug.

nope, that's why j and q 2 piston brakes are an upgrade. i expected better braking when i put on my z32's, but damn it's like an on/off switch lol.

yeah I beleive the later jdm cars had the bigger brakes there the same diameter as the 300 brakes just not as wide and have a sliding caliper. I have a set on my car. The pads are the same as a maxima and the rotors are altima but you cant go get maxima calipers from the junk yard the caliper mount is a bit different and the pad will overhang the rotor wich is not acceptable in my world. I tried it before getting a jdm set off ebay.
