Hey everyone whats up.

Well this is mainly for guys who have done a 300zx front brake upgrade but anyone with knowledge on this will be appreciated.

I now have JDM S13 4 Pot claipers, which are basiclly 300zx ones, and want to put them on. I wanted to know the following:

1) Do I HAVE to change or upgrade the master cylinder?

2) I'v been told that 11" rotors are needed to use these or stock 300zx TT rotors. Is that right? I know I can get them redrilled to 4 bolt.

3) Do the stock 240 lines fit on these calipers? More specifically do the stock lines screw on to the caliper hard line?

4) I'v been told that this assembly fit's using the stock 7 spoke 240 rims. Is that right?

I'd appreciate any other info that you feel is realivent or that will help me out.

Thanks very much guys.

Take care.

1) yes u do, along with the lines i think

2)if u have the calipers its best to get the rotor to go with them, tt's should fit, but how are u going to drill a 5 lug into a 4 lug unless ur using and old 300zx

3)answered in number 1

4)i think so but double check

i hope this helps but im not sure so if anyone else reads this check me on it

Hey everyone.

Just wondered if anyone else had something to add. Do you agree/dissagree with ASIA989?

Im not saying he's is not right, Im only looking for a little more.

BTW ASIA, you can redrill the zx 5 bolt rotor's to the stock 240 4 x 114. I would'nt do it personally. I'd have a shop do it for me.

Thanks guys.

Hey side waz,

Where did you get these JDM S13 4 piston calipers from? What model were they offered on? I only ask because I've never heard of any factory S13 with them. And, why weren't you able to get the rotors with the calipers? If they are from a JDM S13, then there should be matched JDM 4-lug rotors available, right?

IF you got the Z32 calipers (which you might have), then I believe there is a FAQ on these forums, perhaps in the Tires/Wheels/Suspension forum?

Well, maybe it's phonetic, like, side wâs... or international, like, side wäs... or maybe it's a license plate, like SIDEWAZ. In Cali, you only get 7 letters/numbers. He he he.

EDIT: Then again, I'd drop the "A", not the "Y"... SIDEWYZ

1. you defenitly dont HAVE to upgrade the MC, my friend uses 30mm and a stock MC and its fine.

2. you defenitly need rotors, the caliper needs something to hold onto.

3. the stock lines will not work with these calipers, you need 240sx/Z32 conversion lines. SPL Parts has them for a good price.

4. SOME 91+ SE wheels will fit, somewhere along the line they either added or removed some bracing from the back of the spokes. if you dont have the bracing youre good, if you do, youll need a spacer.

Hey everyone thanks fo rthe input.

Well first to masticatingcow,

I go these from my buddies JDM shop. They came off a Nissan S13 coupe from Japan. He did'nt have the rotors with them. All his stuff is hand picked so I guess he thought the rotors were no good. Plus I want slotted ones. I got them for free. He is sponsoring me.

As for my user name, the "a" is hard not soft. side wAz! It was just something different that's all.

To black s13,

Thanks for the info. Where can I check out those lines? I will also check out that section and see whats there.

Thank you very much again guys. I really do appreciate everything.

Take care.
