Sorry for re-posting this topic, but last time I got two different answers. What rotors and brake pads can I use? I think someone mentioned Altima, but then I got a second reply about Maxima. Thanks for your clarification.

Wait, what is your goal? Why do you need 180sx brakes? My car had them but I threw them out.

The 180sx rotors were the same diameter and thickness as ABS equipped same year altima and maxima and ABS equipped 97-98 240sx.

Honestly speaking, there is nothing(read: Nothing) special about 180sx brakes. They are a smidgen larger, but daily cars will never know the difference between the slightly greater mass VS. installing reman calipers loaded with new pads and new rotors.

You want a brake upgrade? Put on braided stainless lines from Phase2.Want more? Buy Project MU pads from Phase2.

My opinion is, keep it simple. thnx for reading

Thanks for your input, but the brakes are already on my car. They are little bigger than the stock 240SX caliper and the brake pads are also different, so I'm assuming the piston is slightly larger as well. I'm not sure if my OEM brakes were just beat up, but I feel those much better as far as braking. I need to turn the rotors, but eventually I will need to replace them and same with the brake pads, so what USDM Nissan are they compartable with? I will change the lines to SS, as that makes a difference. I didn't really swap the brakes as to have a "upgrade", I just had them and I figured they would be better than mine being newer. I will eventually upgrade to Z32 or Skyline brakes, but until then....Thanks for you help gents
