Good point, how do they function?Jeff Williams wrote:Very nice!
I guess the white light turns on, while the amber light blinks.

Simply Magnificent!Me like!kimrober wrote:I just got them from Japan yesterday and installed them...
they should be wired so the clear cornering portion only comes on when the turn signal is operated, and the amber portion lights with the headlamps and or parking lamps{neither the clear or amber portions should blink}kimrober wrote:Thanks for the compliments guys I got them new on Yahoo auction for around 9800 Yen (roughly around $100 USD).Like Jeff said, the white part functions as cornering lamp and is very bright, and the amber part is signal light. Had to tap the wires from corner lamp to make amber part operational and stock marker wires were used for white part of the unit.
I though that the laws over there required side marker lights to blink. That is why so many european cars have the little marker light behind the front wheel. I don't know, maybe the factory blinker is enough on the side of the car, to pass the requirement.qship96 wrote:

EDIT: whoops, that was in response to this:I saw a nice black Q45t on Ft Weaver today and had to take a extra second to check it out while in traffic.
